The Halloween Mega Night, featuring three special activities for children, is slated for Thursday, Oct. 29.
The party at the Greene County Community Center, hosted by the Jefferson park and recreation department, is for children age 2 through fifth grade. It will be held from 4 to 5 pm, with registration beginning at 3:45. The party will feature Halloween games and crafts, and treats (of course). Pre-registration is requested but not required. Watch for information about Trick-or-Treat Around the Square, which will include a trick contest at the courthouse, and the party at the Jefferson public library.
Note: Beggars’ Night in Jefferson has been set for Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
